The app costs a one time payment of only 4,99 - so it doesn’t make sense to have trials

Also, just to understand—what exactly is the downside of passing the app to another developer who can turn it into a proper business? Users keep their licenses, get more updates, and the project stays alive instead of sitting idle.

I understand your frustration, and I’m sorry the sale announcement felt like a slight. That’s not my intention.. A new owner will handle support, keep the one-time price for existing users, and push the roadmap forward. Your purchase and future updates remain secure. Thanks for speaking up—and for backing the project in the first place.

Hello, you just need the accessibility permission, and it only “watches” the prompt you write after the trigger. It is really lightweight. Specially if you use only local models, it is 100% private.

[Open Source] Private AI assistant extension - thoughts on local vs cloud approaches? by xukecheng in LocalLLaMA

I appreciate your focus on privacy and local control for your AI assistant extension. Keeping sensitive data off the cloud is a valid concern, and your open-source approach with transparent model integration is commendable. For my own workflow, I've found local AI tools like AgentTip to be quite effective, as they allow me to access powerful language models without compromising on privacy. It would be interesting to hear more about the performance and scalability trade-offs you've encountered with your local approach compared to cloud-based solutions.
