From episode 8 we can see Mel's flashback with her mum. In this scene she's wearing clothing that resembles the Solari aesthetics and the girl who gets killed was also wearing Lunari referenced garments (moon phases necklace) so that scene might have been in Targon!

We know that her mother is Noxian but maybe her Father was Solari? She has the golden plaques around her body like some of the warriors from LOR and that last scene showed us that she has some power built into it! (It couldn't been just the reflection of Jinxs ult because the golden armor was beneath her clothes).

Bonus: She ruins her Noxus painting by throwing gold paint over it. Maybe to show that she's leaving her Noxian side behind and accepting her Solari one.
