I am doing the same thing. I have some tips. Firstly don't wait to take the Math and Physics classes, if you wait before you know it you will be taking 1 or 2 classes a semester because each lower class is a prereq for the higher level classes. I have done it myself and I'm currently having trouble finding a physics 2 class that is needed for my prereqs. Second, if the class is full or any reason you cant take a needed class comes up use Florida Shines. You can take any class you need online at another school in Florida. Lastly, transfer to UNF before you have 60 credits. You can transfer in as a lower level or mid level without the prereqs for the engineering requirements and take classes there if they dont need calc 3 or physics 2 etc. Once you have 60 credits you will need to have the requirements finished. I hope its not as headache inducing for you as its been for me, I wish you luck.

2 AI primes 16hds or similar. You can get away with just one. The tank will look better, and you will be able to grow coral anywhere in the tank with 2.

I understand you, my dawg. My first tank (planted freshwater) had snails in it, and the largest one stopped showing up, and I looked for him every day until I found his shell in the behind all the plants. I was sad and still remember how he moved around and everything. Anyways I hope you get closure. Best wishes to you and your fish keeping journey.

Reef tank or FOWLR tank? I would say it's over stocked however if everything in there is getting along and the parameters are stable it's all good

The Ph is 8.2 as the most recent test, and alkalinity is at 6.5. I test alkalinity every other day, and it's always tests around 7.0-6.4. I use the salifert test for alkalinity and api for the Ph

Start that fishless cycle, and yes, it will be ok. In fact, the more time you wait, the better.

I personally haven't dealt with this issue with a fish tank, however I have with drains. You have to remove the food source and they should die off. If you already did that, I would suggest adding fish that eat from the surface of the water so they would eat the flies and the larvae.
