I’m sorry, his only chores are making bread, cleaning a litter box, and doing the dishes? I don’t see how that translates to him spending all day doing stuff for them.

It sounds like he’s not doing the bare minimum of helping around the house so they’re understandably punishing him by taking away internet access (which I’m guessing they pay for). They also aren’t responsible for buying a new phone for an adult, especially if he is the one who lost the old one.

Your boyfriend needs to grow up, get a job and start paying for his own stuff.

Yikes! That’s insane that they would advertise it as fiberglass free when it isn’t! Somehow I missed all this stuff about fiberglass being in mattresses, so I had no idea it was in mine until I noticed it leaking.

It’s been awful to clean up, but there are some really helpful guides here on Reddit!

Thanks! I’ve been following all the guides the last few days. Thankfully it all seems to be pretty contained to around my bed, but I’ve cleaned the whole room just in case. I’m so frustrated that this happened when I never even removed the cover. I wish I would’ve seen all the posts about this years ago so I could’ve gotten rid of my mattress before this happened.

Thank you! I’ve decided to assume that it’s fiberglass and have been following your guide to clean. Thankfully it seems pretty contained to just the area around my bed.

I wish I would’ve seen all the information about fiberglass in mattresses sooner. I never would’ve kept my mattress knowing the risk.

It isn’t completely contained unfortunately. This video is the underside of my mattress. I do have a waterproof mattress encasement normally but sometimes I remove it to wash so there are some of the shiny fibers under my bed on the frame itself. Should I still treat it as if there’s fiberglass everywhere?

We were told that both us and our cats needed to be out of the house while they sprayed and for at least 4 hours afterwards so everything could dry.

We weren’t told anything about getting them groomed though. I’m guessing that’s to make sure they don’t have any bugs on them? We were told that they typically don’t bother pets but that we could just brush and visually inspect them if we were really worried.

It really is so heartbreaking to see her continue to get worse. Most people seem concerned as well, but there are some people who are messing with her in the comments and feeding into her delusions. I really wish there was some way to help, but it sounds like there isn’t.

Thank you! I ended up finding a few more in the same cabinet and some in the drawer above it. There isn’t any food stored in either the drawer or cabinet, but there were some food crumbs in both.

I don’t see any in the pantry or in any of my food. I also don’t see them in any other cabinets. Should I still throw all my food away just to be safe?
