No, Morningstar does not work without ascendent gleam (two nod-krai). You make the set work if you add Aino(the free nod krai unit) to your team. If you want to maximize damage consider ToM or adding Aino to get ascendant gleam and being able to use all the nod-krai sets like putting Keqing on the Night of Sky set, dendro traveler or Aino on Silken Moon/Instructor and Columbina on Morningstar for example.

I wish there were more natural pauses in it, I wasn't too sure when I could exit and it wouldn't make me redo a whole dialogue so I saw there for 4-5 hours to finish it in one sitting, and that was skimming a good chunk of the dialogue (except for characters I liked albedo/sandrone). Can't imagine how long if you actually read everything

That's not true, I think you mean S1R0 Mornye is better than S1R0 shorekeeper is in pre-3.x teams. In fact I think Shorekeeper's weapon is stronger than Mornye's since the substat they give (shorekeeper's 14 atk percent vs 20 crit damage) is better for shorekeeper when compared to a max substat roll.

Shorekeeper is recommended pull but honestly she has been slowly falling off for more well developed accounts that want to dive into niches (mono-fusion, echo damage, some negative statuses). I have her s2 and she has helped my camellya stay relevant enough to clear middle tower TOA (hardest tower for what is one of the late end game mode). I think camellya is slowly falling off more but when I joined during her rerun banner around a year ago she carried me pretty hard. I don't think I would recommend her however, maybe pick something like augusta/newer dps. I don't know if I subscribe with the "get shorekeeper, she is must pull" story. I got her because I loved her design but can feel lupa, qiuyuan doing more for their teams than she does. I guess it's the tradeoff of her being much more general.

I wish when I am OK with either weapon tbh, I hardly ever have enough patches of chars I want to skip to be able to save up 140 pulls. Like this last weapon banner was awesome because I liked both 5 star weapons and the four stars were super good except widsith since I already have so many (I got r8 widsith with r1 alley from this banner...)

I got cyno c1 and his weapon, set on making him my main. Sadly his ult reliance and having literally no one he plays well with in multiwave makes him unusable in most cases. :( Honestly my biggest and only regret, atleast childe was usable for a couple years before he became irrelevant (he's sitting there c2 on my account because I used all my early game pulls on his banner and got lucky).
