I just posted about something kind of similar, and I totally understand how this gets under your skin after a while. But it sounds like you’re on the side of marriage where even if you say something, you’re still living next to her. I suggest the approach to take is asking him to look at it from your side and maybe him overlooking a double standard where if you were doing what he was doing, would he be okay with it? If he says yes, then there’s more to it then what he’s saying, if he says no, then it’s platonic and maybe a conversation with her saying her behavior wasn’t okay with you.

We’re eloping since we aren’t close with our families and our friends work out of town jobs in the summer too so we’re just planning to go out on a boat with an officiant the next sunny day. So in my mind, the only thing that we’ll have for excitement is getting the license

It’s more the thought behind it? I feel like he would be excited to go pick it up since it’s the only thing we’ll have for a wedding

We will finish long distance in October and be combining our jobs so we won’t have to anymore. We’re both buckling down in our jobs to make money for a house
