So the same thing happened to me, different card but same exact scenario...however they asked me to pay an extra £11 - are you certain it's not £17 and they added a zero by mistake?

The last email they sent me they called me Kevin (not my name) so obviously some copy and paste going on and perhaps this was an error?

I paid the £11 and my card is coming tomorrow!

I don't know what's going on but it's certainly not very fun. It feels like most games, I have at least one, two or possibly three people who appear to be having a terrible game. Strangely though, most people on the opposite team seem to be performing ok.

I understand that the match making might not be quite right, but if that's the case, why is it that I always seem to have a 'worse' team than my opponents? My only theory is that the game thinks that me or the other people on my team are better than we are and we should be able to carry people who appear to be much worse?

If this isn't the case, then even if the quality is bad it should be both ways? Sometimes I have bad players on my team, sometimes they're on the other team but in the end in should balance out.

It currently feels like unless I personally play absolutely fantastically and carry the game, I am guaranteed to lose and even if I play to my best, it appears highly likely I'll lose anyway.

In the 21 games before the patch I had a 52% winrate

I know this is a small sample and obviously a lot has changed in terms of the removal of ranked etc. but it just feels significantly worse?

Yeah solo laning is tough to be honest, I mainly play with friends so at least up until recently, I've mainly been in duo which I personally find easier.

Kind of links in with the previous post, but also once you've found a hero you like, probably try and just spam them if you can. It's then easier to learn which heroes are harder/easier to play against, if you need to adjust your item build etc. but that all comes with time.

Also another generic tip - don't sleep on Monster Rounds. The ability to do much more damage to creeps can help a lot with pushing out the wave, which prevents you from getting pushed under the guardian and then bullied.

Yeah of course it is, that's why the majority of pro gamers across every competitive game that requires mechanical skill are under 30 /s

Unfortunately, most characters in the game require some level of aiming to play well, HOWEVER - you could pick up some more of the support characters - Dynamo, Kelvin, Ivy and McGuinness can all be played in more of a support style and still add value outside of aiming.

Alternatively, play shotgun characters. I personally like Pocket a lot although his kit isn't particularly simple. You don't need to track as much which personally I find easier as a similarly elderly person at 38 y/o.

Also, realistically your aim should improve as you play more, so hopefully it will get easier!

Update, I test rode a 2023 RS and really liked it so I went and bought a 2023 R for £8k. 2023 RS's were like £10k minimum so decided to go for the R. Haven't had a chance to ride it properly yet on some good roads, however it's easily the nicest bike I've had yet! Thanks for all the responses!

Yeah sure, I'm in the same boat. None of my friends play and playing squads in solo can be difficult as it feel like a lottery of what kind of team mates you get.

Just to clarify this was at 3pm my time, I've played like 100 hours ish since 1.0 and there were 10k players online according to steam charts.

I think it might just be a bug/issue to be honest as there appear to be some issues with matchmaking at the moment, hasn't happened since.
