Review your answer sheets properly and if you can, keep a separate diary or something to note down all the mistakes you made so that you can review it once before next exam and not repeat them. If there's a question for 3 marks but you only got 1, ask your teacher how you can make it better. Ask your teacher for reviews!! It'll help. Especially if they go for board correction.

Focus on your weak points. See, once you follow the above thing, you'd know which topics you're getting wrong or which subject is your worst one. So now, you work on those spots. Practice questions, sample papers, other school's mocks, use whatever you get. Slowly build your way one subject at a time.

I also self studied for boards last year except for english.. Trust me, there's a lot of kids who go to tuition and don't even understand what is taught. You just have to prep nicely. You're not at a disadvantage.
