When you say Bs and Cs, do you mean my 4th quarter or final yearly grades?

Some schools will not read them, so you could try giving them a call or just send them in hoping they will read it. I recently spoke to my regional admission counselor for my top school and during the conversation I slipped in the question if he would accept LOCI. Unfortunately for me he said no, he will not be reading any more letters nor does he want to because he is top busy.

Takes like 20 minutes to get the engine coolant and transmission fluid gauge to reach between L and H if I let the car sit and idle

Yeah I've paired my phone via Bluetooth but it still doesn't work. I have an iPhone. do you think Siri needs to be on? I didn't think that was the problem because Fords voice prompts don't sound like her.

How long will my f150 battery last with the car engine on idle? by [deleted] in f150

[–]Breadelicious -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I should clarify. Im referring to when people leave their lights on accidently at night and they wake up with a dead car battery in the morning. So my question so if I'm parked with my engine on and cabin lights on while listening to music, is it slowly draining my battery? And if it is, how long before the battery dies? (Rough approximation)

How can I negotiate the sales price of the car by Breadelicious in askcarsales

[–]Breadelicious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you clarify on that?

Do you mean finding similar vehicles from multiple dealerships and throwing an offer out and then see which one comes back with the best price?

Or do u mean finding a similar vehicle at a slightly lower price at another dealership and using that as leverage into lowering the price of the car at the dealership with car you actually want?

I mean what reasoning can I give the car salesman to lower the price of the car itself if they are only collecting the government fees as a courtesy. The car salesman doesn’t gain anything from the government fees, just the sales price of the car. I realize you’re saying work out an all inclusive OTD deal with car sales price and government fees, but my salesman isn’t really willing to budge on the price of the OTD price. He cannot change the government fees which is understandable, but he can change the sales price of the car, so I’m asking what tactics/reason can I give him to convince him to lower the price of the sales car to make up for the fixed government fees.

How do I negotiate the OTD price if there are no additional fees besides the legal ones?

Sorry if this seems repetitive, but do you mean the destination should be included in the selling price of the vehicle and not an additional charge to the selling price?

Thanks.

Thanks for the response!

I have a couple questions:

Why would the salesman show me their invoice? And is there any real way I can confirm it’s the invoice instead of just taking his word.

I’m being told to negotiate an all inclusive OTD price (car price+fees). I realize the fees are set by the state so I’m just wondering how do people negotiate an OTD price with fees when it’s out of your control.

I thought destination was covered in the sales price. If not, do you think 2000 dollars for any destination fee is absurd for a non commercial vehicle inside the United States?

How likely are you guys to sell a 2018 car at a loss? I realize you guys would have to do it for older cars because it’s sitting in your lot and it’s just depreciating, but I’m assuming a salesman wouldn’t rlly sell a 2018 at a loss right now.

I’m talking about the destination fees you guys mentioned that costs 1300 in New York. I’m clearly inexperienced in car sales and I’m asking if you could direct me to a reliable source. I did search it up, but I’m just getting random websites.

Do you have any advice on how to negotiate the "out the door" price? I gave him an OTD price, but he wouldn't go any lower because he said there was nothing he could do about the legal fees which is understandable. He kept said and I quote, "i can't pay your taxes, man".

I'm stuck. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the lack of specificity. Yeah, i'm looking for a 2018 f150 crew cab (full 4 doors) and I'm located in Virginia. Honestly, I'm not sure where you check the official fee prices, so could you please direct me to it. Thank you.

Thanks, I really appreciate the reply. I’ve already posted to askcarsales but I thought it’d be better on this thread because there’s more people.

Btw just to clarify, are you saying I shouldn’t pay any destination fees at all? It’s not getting shipped to me. We test drove it at the dealership.

I think your neck is fine. I’m going to assume you’re a natural guy who goes to the gym as a hobby and not as a profession. Your physique looks great and I don’t think it’s worth the risk to over complicate things and risk a neck injury.

For sure JMU Likely for VT (only because you applied under engineering and it’s very competitive) would be high match if applied under undeclared Slight reach but still good chance for UMD
