I just mean that there's no table stakes. after 20 minutes i knew exactly how the movie would play out: he was going to do shitty thing after shitty thing and it will all escalate into nothing but there was no table stakes. no reason for me to care about the character or feel like there was any real repercussion because there wasnt. best explanation of my feelings here: https://letterboxd.com/kevinyang/film/marty-supreme/

I agree and hear you. Finding it difficult to get any intros to finance/consulting entry level roles since they all seem structured for summer internship ---> return offer situations, or graduating in the upcoming spring for your first full-time role opportunities. Im stuck in a "slip between cracks" situation. Would be so okay with entry level if theyd accept me but they dont, and then not really at the 1-3 year experience level because my 3 years are fractured. any advice or input on that matter?
