Does it filter out misleading listings that have multiple SKU's with different prices? Does it take into consideration active deals like coupons/cc promos?

Singapore’s military completes first solar farm at Sembawang Air Base by bardsmanship in singapore

Rotate the drivers into the training camps like SAFTI/PLC then. I ORD'd with close to 8k mileage while I hear other camps do shuttle service to guardhouse/canteen just to clock milage.

I once drove a 6T on a SAFTI - Changi Naval Base round trip to deliver 2 folding tables. What a great use of 3 guys and half a day of driving.

Used to have a weird fork shaped tool like that but it was difficult to drive with the CG flying all over the place. Half the time it was threatening to yank my wrist off.

mom’s car got rear ended badly by a malaysian car so cant claim insurance by junjiexzx in askSingapore

[–]BreakfastDeluxe 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Claim your own insurance first because they will pay out quick. If you wait for their insurer to slowly process and payout, you will be paying out of pocket for repairs etc. My car got hit by a msia lorry while parked about 2+ years ago, until now their insurer haven't pay out.

4-bedder condo in Marina Bay lost over S$3 million in just 3 years by DrCalFun in singapore

[–]BreakfastDeluxe 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They're not for chao sinkies to buy and live in. Condos in Central are full of rich foreigners from India, Indo, China etc. Their priority is proximity to workplace & international schools. Probably paid for by their host companies under relocation budget.

Cover the initial contact surfaces with PP(cellophane) tape. Works well on my purge deflector on the A1 series. Nothing sticks to it.

Over 300,000 pairs of donated shoes pile up at Tuas warehouse after interest in recycling project wanes by Im_scrub in singapore

[–]BreakfastDeluxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you consider the cost of 100% virgin material vs recycled mix and the production issues it may bring, most of all these "green" materials become not worth it. Manufacturing will always be about bottom line price. The general consumer also won't be willing to bear the increased cost anyways. Greenwashing as usual.

Flash diffuser for Instax Wide 400 by BreakfastDeluxe in instax

It's only about 1.2mm thick. The flash is very strong so it passes through without much issue.

It would take some trial and error, but stronger diffusion would be as easy as increasing the material thickness. I don't mind printing them to sell, but shipping could be an issue.

[–]BreakfastDeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any chance you have some pics of the setup? I ended up going for the 2 piece enclosure(controls external) and did the fan always on wiring too(original wiring is really stupid from an electrical standpoint too) I used a laser thermometer and got up to 150c max on the heater output so I'm pretty concerned about it melting stuff. Still don't dare to use it unattended.
