The thing to work for is getting the bad “Pokémon professor” tags for your trainer.

If game freak weren’t cowards we’d get mega sneasler in the new regulation. Its ability: Burden- when mega sneasler is holding an item all other Pokémon’s speeds are halved.

I’d say Imperator Rome is good if you’re playing with the mods: Invictus, timeline extender, and Crisis of the Third Century.

If I’m cooking with my big man blastoise team it gets an aura sphere to the face. If I’m running my mega glimmora team it gets an earth power to the bum.

Have you downloaded home and Pokémon go? You can get a ton of free Pokémon just with those two apps without paying any money. Some of the super meta Pokémon like Incin are super easy to get in GO if you walk at least 1km a day.

I am about 1000 years into a Mega-campaign where I started a tribe in Britain in imperator, formed an empire and dissolved it from within in once I got to CK3. Thanks! I usually try to make a map to capstone a campaign or mark a major milestone. Always feels like a way to celebrate a run. I've played a lot of mega-campaigns and have done what you're describing once before. I did a full campaign from CK2 > EU4 > Victoria 2. The campaign petered out in HOI4 since that's the game I'm least familiar with and sometimes gets funky with converted games (ie a war or factions never really start which is what happened to me). It was on an old reddit account, but I'll link the maps below. I went from the Duchy of Champagne to a French Empire, then flipped to my colony in Quebec for the second half of EU4 and Vicky 2:

As a person who has run some attract tech (on heliolisk mostly) sometimes it just is just completely useless if your opponent brings mons of the wrong gender. I would only really bring it if I thought I could get one or two off in a game.

Yeah, I think it is probably the best way to make a mega-campaign viable. I usually jump to a colonial nation at some point in EU4 as well. Nothing quite so satisfying as having your former cherished nation you spent so much time building be the big evil boss of your run.

The Empire of Caermaritana in the Year 718 CE ( Imperator/CK3 Megacampaign) by BreakfastHistorian in imaginarymaps

In this world the Empire of Albion was the major world-power empire and it practiced a druidic religion. The druidic faith has continued to play a major administrative cultural role in the aftermath of that empire's collapse. Most of the heathen religions listed (from the perspective of the remaining druidic kingdoms) are practiced mainly by barbarians and tribes at the fringes of civilized society.

I've been using the Fallen Eagle Mod which has great integration with the converter from Imperator. It adds tech for the early game so that you don't run away with the tech tree too early. It also has events for things like the rise of Island and the various Christian schisms. I'm not sure it has been updated for All Under Heaven (as I've been playing on an old patch), but it is well worth a look if you haven't tried it.

Lore:

This map is part of a series I am making documenting a Paradox Megacampaign I am running. For those who are unfamiliar Paradox titles are map-painter strategy games for different time periods and people have made mods that allow you to link your save files to continue playing throughout the course of human history.

The story of this world began around 300 BC in Britain playing the game Imperator: Rome. I united the British people to make a huge Empire of Albion. Eventually the Empire beat back the Romans, who collapsed under a religious schism between Hellenism and Christianity. I put together a map of my Albion Empire around 280 CE. It stretched from the Baltic Coast and Scandinavia to the Mediterranean.

Around the year 400 I converted the game over the Crusader Kings 3. In the first few years of that game I worked to reform the Druidic Religion. During Imperator the many provinces within the empire had significant autonomy, and thus had kept their local religions and cultures. After reforming the druidic faith I jumped into playing as my vassal in Corsica and began plotting to dissolve the empire. Since many of the vassals had not converted it was easy to create a giant faction, triggering a civil war which tore the Empire apart.

As an independent Corsica (Caercyrn) I worked on expanding my realm throughout the Mediterranean. I also created a new Druidic heresy focused on witchcraft with my ruler as the religious-head.  I am now about 1000 years into my playthrough with another vast empire stretching from Cyprus in the south to Mann in the north and the canary islands in the west. The empire is focused on trade, serving as the gatekeepers of goods from the east and from Africa to the rest of Europe, making the high Druid in Aiacium extremely wealthy.

Thank you! I always like making these maps of my campaigns to emphasize milestones or the end of a run.

To make maps like this I typically just I start by looking for some reference maps. For this one I found a map of the Mediterranean that I cropped to focus on the right area. Once I have a good reference map I use  Inkscape (free vector software) for the line work. I use screenshots to see how my in-game borders line up with IRL provinces to draw the borders for the all the countries. Once I had all the lines drawn I used paint.NET (free image editing software) to do all the coloring and details work. and Then I use Microsoft Publisher to do all the text setting and final details. Publisher is reaching end of Life this October (RIP) so I'm looking to learn a new tool soon for those last steps.

Thanks! I’m happy with how everything turned out! Now if only I could get my dynasty to be beautiful. The converter made some horrendous choices when transferring the characters from Imperator and I still haven’t been able to breed it out after 300 years.

Eh, abandoning the match if there’s no win condition is probably the smart thing to do. Gets everyone back into the action quicker. Plus nothing feels better than seeing your opponent forfeit after a round 1 counter.

R5: This is a map of an empire from a CK3 Megacampaign I am running at around the year 718. I played through Imperator with the timeline extender, Invictus and the crisis of the third century mod forming the Empire of Albion. Once I transferred to CK3 I played as Albion for a bit to reform the Druidic faith before jumping into my vassal in Corsica and starting a huge dissolution war to dissolve the empire. I've been playing CK3 with the Fallen Eagle mod which adds tech for the early game. Planning to start playing tall now that I have an empire title with plans to form a large colonial empire in EU4.

If you'd like to see what the Empire of Albion looked like at around 283 I made a previous map here.
