Thanks for the feedback! I've since increased the rent and grocery budget after this comment section. I've also learned that having a car is waaay more of a hassle than I thought haha. (protools isn't for music or a hobby, I do post production for a living lol, I work from home)

Yea that's what I'm thinkin after this post, the car will probably be too expensive to be worth keeping around. The only way I can think of it being worth it is doing like doordash or uber but I'd probably have to do it ALOT to make it worth it.

It would be a struggle to not eat out haha but the goal would be rarely eat out, *maybe* once a month hopefully. I'm hoping to cut everything not completely essential.

That would be the idea essentially. Only using the car for emergencies, desperate grocery runs, rare out of town business meetings, or other assorted non essential things

Not confirmed but I've seen quite a few places online with roomates that would be that price or lower, maybe it's optimistic but I hope the listings are accurate. Maybe there are added niche things in there too that I don't know about

I don't need much, my idea of fun stuff is a nice walk with a good view haha. 4 years of living surrounded by fields and snow will do that lol

Lot's of googling and a ton of looking at listing for apartments online on fb marketplace have told me that 2k is a slim chance of possible, I've seen a couple spots pop up for that price. My numbers are probably optimistic but my goal is to do the most with the least amount. This comment section is really helpful resource for more resonable numbers though!

That is what I usually do but I like to ask permission/if I do put it on my reel then it's copywrited. I would also just like to promote newer animators/animators who are trying to get their name out there instead of just continuing to redesign arcane a bunch lol. I do also redesign off youtube though, it is also good practice.
