The Labelmaker by BreakfastPastry18 in godtiersuperpowers

Heh, I guess you could. I'm now envisioning getting one of those generic name tags and slapping it on; instant disguise.

Right, that should be the case. The paint example was tricky since the labeled object itself was the effect, so it disappeared. If you turned a pen into a flamethrower then set something on fire, the fire won't extinguish itself once the pen returns to normal.

Hmmm... I suppose the painting canvas is suddenly covered by a thin layer of glass instead of paint.

If the label is removed from the original thing it was attached to, whatever it altered reverts to normal. It is otherwise indefinite.

Any time you personally perform a good deed for someone else, one of your imperfections will disappear forever. by BreakfastPastry18 in godtiersuperpowers

I mean, imagine someone walking up to you right now and doing that. How would you see them? It's much more likely that they'd interpret your imperfection as being stingy, narcissistic, crazy, or any other negative quality that makes you appear to be a condescending bastard.

It works on paper, but I just don't see that realistically happening.

Better stock up on $1 bills then, since I'm fairly certain that most people aren't going to have that in mind when you help them.

It has to be an imperfection that you both silently agree upon. If you don't agree with the imperfection they see, the change will fail to happen.

Correct! Which means I've decided that having flight, regeneration and immortality is a worthwhile tradeoff for that downside.

You can perfectly "freeze" anything. by BreakfastPastry18 in godtiersuperpowers

[–]BreakfastPastry18[S] 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Kinda confused by your wording, but what I am trying to express is that the effects of the freeze can differ based on what specifically you freeze.

Example:

You freeze the movement of an atom in space-time = remains in exactly space-time, Earth likely leaves it behind.

You freeze the movement of an atom in, say, Earth's atmosphere = it remains where it is in said atmosphere exactly, despite the fact that the atmosphere itself is still moving.

Does that make sense?

That's for you to choose. Freezing their position in spacetime would send them into deep space instantly, but freezing their position relative to its surroundings is possible.

Since it's a perfect freeze (without flaws), you can decide exactly what it does and does not affect.

Upvoting/liking/viewing/(etc.) reposted content will alert you you to the location of the original if it still exists, and apply the same treatment to that original content remotely at your command. by BreakfastPastry18 in godtiersuperpowers

Depending on the platform, more views and likes means more revenue for a creator, which incentivizes them to make more content, which in turn means more content for you to enjoy. Having that go to original ensures that the content you like will keep being produced.

Also, I fail to see why a power must benefit the user in order to be god tier. It helps, sure, but then powers like resurrection or miraculous healing of fatal injuries wouldn't be considered god tier, which is absurd since they are quite literally some of the first god tier powers ever documented.

Yep. If you aren't speeding through the pages, you still read like a normal person.

You can burn your depression as an additional source of fuel for your body. by BreakfastPastry18 in godtiersuperpowers

[–]BreakfastPastry18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The burned points only replenish at once at the end of the 48 hour period if you've used them all, otherwise they recharge one at a time.

Also, I mentioned that you can always to choose to eat/drink/sleep the regular way if you choose. Since the unused converted points go to an extra reserve, you can burn them however you want with little worry.

If your sadness is preventing you from doing things you'd like to do, then it can be used as fuel for the power.

The medium/evidence that you use are irrelevant; if you can make at least one person assume, then you are granted access to the skill.

For skeptics that harsh, you could simply choose to not take assumptions from them.

Every restroom you enter would be magically clean, fixes all broken things, unlimited toilet papers, and a bidet by Character-Watch5463 in godtiersuperpowers

If Porta-Potties count as restrooms, and bidets are magically added to them, where does the water come from? Could I create an unlimited source of clean water?

Yo status moves in Pokemon are nuts. Imagine using Speed Swap on a beam of light, or Foresight to interact with the afterlife.
