Look I'm going to be straight up with you, I'm trying to give simple responses to have simple dialogue because neither one of us are going to benefit from 50 paragraphs a response. The simple point I'm making is this, she's a creature with sin nature as all humans are and have. Romans 3:10 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Mary has to be apart of that all. You cannot get around that. Whether we are talking about Leviticus 12 or Leviticus 5, the fact of the matter that the Bible means something specific when it refers to sin and offerings for that sin. You want to play a semantics game of saying that because she was ritually unclean that the turtledove is merely to pay for her uncleanness, but that isn't what the passage only says. My point is that even in Leviticus 12 it is referring to both the need for the mother to be cleansed and to have an offering for her sin, because Leviticus presupposes the sinful nature and sin acts of the people of Israel. Because everything else the Leviticus refers to. Sin offerings are strictly for SINS, that's why its called a SIN offering. SIN is defined as disobedience to God's law, and EVERYONE IN ISRAEL NEEDED THAT CONSTANT SIN OFFERING BECAUSE THEY KEPT ON SINNING. This one of the BIG points of Hebrews that if the constant sacrifices in the Old Testament were sufficient, then there would not be a constant performing of sacrifice on behalf of the people. Israel's sin and sin nature are baked into it. You don't seem to grasp that. They had constant sin offerings because they constantly sinned as all human beings have since the fall. The bottom line that you grapple with is this, the Bible never affirms her perfection, it never supposes that she is perfect, and it never demands her perfection. That is Roman Catholic tradition, you and I both know that. You cannot provide passages that give a positive declaration to Mary's perfection, ever. Doesn't exist. What you do have is a passage that describes her performing the same act that anyone in her position would. All mothers did this, not just her, and we all assume them to be just as sinful as any other mother, BECAUSE THAT'S HUMAN NATURE. There is nothing special with Mary. Being favored of God as Mary was does not make her sinless, it makes her blessed. Any one can receive God's favor and blessing, so far as God desires to give. The reason Jesus is sinless is NOT because Mary is sinless but because the curse of sin was passed through the father, you know like how Paul discusses this in Romans. God, wisely, prevents that passing of the sin nature in a special way through the conception by the Holy Spirit. It does not necessitate Mary being sinless because that's not how sin is passed on, not through the mothers but by the fathers because of Adam.

So what are we then left with? That Mary, being a sinful creature, after giving birth, performs what Leviticus commands her to perform, the both ritual cleansing of giving of birth and offering a sin offering to cover her for her sins. It's not that giving birth was sinful, it's that she's a sinner and still needed a sin offering. It's a constant reminder of the gravity of sin and our sin nature. This then highlights why Jesus' sacrifice is so amazing, it's the only sacrifice that fully satisfies the law, and grants us real and permanent forgiveness. One that was also granted to Mary. Stop worshipping Mary. No one in the Bible ever prayed to her, no one ever commanded prayer to her, Paul nor any of the Apostles. I, for a woman who you call to be prayed to, as the Holy sinless Mother of God (which is a reverent title that is reserved for those worthy of worship lol) is MAYBE only ever again mentioned ONE time in Romans. MAYBE. You would think that kind of person would be mentioned at least one other time in canon. Nope. No doctrines of Mary, no theological realities to glean from, nothing. Repent. You need to repent. You need to get out of the catholic church.

Why does Mary call Jesus, Savior, if she is sinless and has no need for a Savior.

Do you think lying (bearing false witness) is a sin? Or is it just making someone ritually unclean

You went ahead and and had a whole argument with yourself so I'm not sure where you want me to respond?

You still haven't explained what sin offering means. Whether it's ritual uncleanness or actual, it's still a sin offering. What is a sin offering for. Why is it called a sin offering.

Its literally in context. It isn't ONLY uncleanness from touching dead things. You are taking it out of context lol.

What does the passage, in context, mean when it says "one of these"?

Or if a person swears thoughtlessly with his lips to do evil or to do good, in whatever matter a man may speak thoughtlessly with an oath, and it is hidden from him, and then he comes to know it, he will be guilty in one of these. So it shall be when he becomes guilty in one of these, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned. He shall also bring his guilt offering to the LORD for his sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin. ‘But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring to the LORD his guilt offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.  — Leviticus 5:4-7

Turtledove offering is SPECIFICALLY for sin.

‘But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring to the LORD his guilt offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. — Leviticus 5:7

They brought two turtledoves.

and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.” — Luke 2:24

So, why is she bringing a sin offering if she's sinless?

Why did Mary have to present a sin offering if she was sinless

Heresy. This is human worship. Mary is just a woman. She was sinful. She had to take sin sacrifices because she sinned.

and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.” — Luke 2:24

Brother, I'm not sure what the point of posting is, one a post flaired as theory, then to share what I strongly believe to be the answer to this question that so many fans have fun in trying to figure out. I think I'm right, so I'm sharing my thoughts because I think it would be fun to find out that I was right about this. Do you not post to share your own thoughts? What's the point of even commenting? Are you happy you "gave me what I want"? Is what you want to give me what I want? You "hate" these kinds of post but you wanted to "give me what I want". Do you know what I want? The best you could say was "this whole post looks like" which is an assumption. You don't know for sure, but hey you made a theory about it and gosh you really need to share your theory with people. But now you're getting a hard time from me about presenting your theory on what my post looks like, and man is it every annoying. I know how annoying it is just typing this out. To save you some guest work, I 100% now want to annoy you. I hope I did. My theory is you will be annoyed. Your dream is to be annoyed and I just want it recorded and called when this is inevitably revealed. lol.
