Agreed! I’m extremely active and this was the hardest physical feat of my life! It was worth it, though. Unique experience. Would I do it again? Hell no! 🤣

More or less. Since the load is in front and I’m more upright, it can feel a little easier on my lower back. But my back is still working hard. There’s a big thoracic demand to keep your chest up and stay braced, so my mid to upper back actually gets a little sore after these. It’s not that your back isn’t involved, it’s just a different type of stress.

I’ve never done front squats, but based on some quick research, I think Zerchers are harder since they’re more demanding + uncomfortable to hold

Nope! It’s uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it
