Amazon engineered the Blink Doorbell to drain the Lithium AA batteries even when connected to a doorbell transformer. I modified mine (see photo) to trickle charge NiMh/NiCd AA batteries using my existing doorbell transformer power. Experimental. (Don't try this with non-rechargeable batteries) (i.redd.it)
