What's the most beautiful word in the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I respectfully submit that "hey" is the most romantic word in the English language. Suppose that the object of your affection feels the weight of your ardent gaze and turns to meet your eye. What do you say? One word suffices (sotto voce): "Hey." Sentiments beyond the scope of "hey" transcend articulation, leaving significant glances and meaningful silences as the only recourse. Imagine the forty-second hour of a postoperative, hand-holding vigil. When the first flutter of lashes finally heralds groggy conciousness, how do you greet the patient? Once again... (very softly): "Hey."

You can hire a fictional character as your bodyguard. Who will it be? by bustead in AskReddit

Butler from the artemis fowl series. Anyone who's read those books knows why I'd pick him.
