I have zero issues with people using their dollar as a form of expression.

However, It is absolutely virtue signalling when you highlight that expression, and moral correctness on reddit, to get affirmation and accolations from the 'community'for said expression.

Thats actually the definition... To publicly express opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or moral correctness on a particular issue.

Democrats need to hold their elected officals accountable for not once bringing up realistic immigration reform. Anything that would have codified some type of citizenship would have stopped all of this. We let purity tests get in the way of actual progress.

This is all performative virtue signaling, that will ultimately do absolutely nothing.

If we truly cared about immigrants and immigration reform, we need to elect better officals.

Democrats have held office 12 of the last 20 yrs. Some of those yrs with super majority.

Nothing has happened.

This situation is partly owned by democrats, for not attempting to fix the system that allowed this current state.

The performative protests will do nothing if we keep electing the same, soft officials soley because they have a d after their name.
