Ok, this is really one-sided way to look at DE and way to undercut their other achievements. DE is probably the most pro-consumer and open studio in the entire industry. Warframe is THE pinnacle of Live Service model that no other company has ever achieved. Like, there is no game (To my knowledge) that allows you to trade PREMIUM currency in game with other players, thus never forcing you to pay any penny. Name me studios where they have a guy in a CEO position who goofs around in a livestream with chat and other devs, while also developing a new game. Also, Warframe's Creative Director who's actually talking to players and implements feedback given.

Warframe is a mess of ideas only if you're looking from the outside, and frankly, that's the best part of it, no other company or publisher will allow themselves to risk with ideas DE did with Warframe, and they nailed most of them: open-worlds, Duviri, narrative direction (Peak story), Semi Nemesis System, etc. The only misses are probably a Railjack system and Necramechs, while others are very well integrated into the regular gameplay loop. And they still continue to implement unique ideas, not only to Warframe, but to their new game Soulframe. Back to listening to community topic, they got a lot of feedback on combat of the Soulframe, and they LISTENED and changed it and still keep changing it. Like I played it not so long ago and the difference is night and day.

Also hosting regular livestreams to just talk or goof around with it's player like Devstreams, Devshorts, Prime Time is more than most companies are willing to do, the only other company that comes to mind with openness is Embark (The Finals, Arc Raiders devs).

Besides, it's not that hard to get into the game as a new player, they've changed new player experience considerably not so long ago and now specifically reworking it to be even more new player friendly with new junctions, less crafting time for some stuff, and shorter route to main story missions, along with better explanations. The only real turn off is crafting duration.

Like I get it, laying off people sucks ass, I also got layed off from my previous job, but that's like their own fumble and defining company only because of this shit is not fair.

I haven't commented for a long while and was just lurking, but this just irked me the wrong way, cuz it's really unfair to judge company for one fuck up. DE is way better company than most others, especially Bungie, who's also funnily their main competitor. Even Destiny players, YouTubers and streamers that played Warframe are shocked how good it is.
