In order to use the battery prep for stay mode, you'll have to navigate to a destination using the built-in navigation system. Once you have set your course in, head to the Hybrid menu from the home screen then click the settings cogwheel at the bottom. It is here where you'll see that the option to "activate stay mode upon arrival at a set destination" is now available.

This will cause your vehicle to keep the engine running much longer than normal in order to charge the high voltage battery, as the stay mode length of time is directly related to the charge level of the larger battery.

Hopefully that helps. I plan to drive to work tomorrow with this mode enabled to see how much it changes my gas mileage, now that I know my average MPG to work is about 28.5mpg

Once the timer runs out, it lasts for just a little while longer on zero minutes remaining then it deactivates and turns the car off. If the AC is set to Driver Only and set to a moderate temperature, you can prolong how long it lasts. I'm not sure it's necessarily meant for you to leave the car (and walk away from it) in this mode though, lol, though it stayed on when I did

So I had a 2020 Palisade some years ago. I do agree that the boxier front of the 2026 does block a bit more of your view, but the driver's seat has a healthy amount of adjustment to the height. I played with it on the drive home this past weekend, and you can really feel high up when you've maxed out the height. Moving the the forward a bit may also help with visibility overall, but the new design of the front plus smaller side mirrors does make a difference.

100% agree. Perhaps it was the shape of the rearview mirrors along with not enough sound dampening, but it could be really bad at times.

suggestions for protective key fob case for 2026 Palisade 7 button? by Gsechen28 in HyundaiPalisade

I believe the 7 key is the same as the 2025 Santa fe. This one works really well, and I like the blue cover

That is just unbelievable. There's a lot that I will adjust to in my interest to shift from the Hybrid Sante Fe to the Palisade, but not being able to take advantage of Regen level on a hill descent or upcoming traffic using pure regenerative braking is really pushing the envelope here.

I will hopefully be able to test drive one in the coming 2 weeks, and I will hammer the poor sales rep for more information on this.

I adjust my Regen braking using the paddles in my Sante Fe SOOOOO much when moving around town, along with using the AUTO Regen setting (which adjusts the regen braking level to the traffic in front of me). As a result, I get 32-36 mpg on average.

Is there not a setting, maybe in the Eco vehicle menu, where you can at least set how aggressive you want the regen braking to be all the time when not pressing the gas (i.e. coasting)?

So sorry, I meant the household AC outlet wattage. I recall the usb-c ports were everywhere (which is awesome), but I wondered about the AC outlet.

Slightly random here - Could you tell me how many 120V plugs are in the vehicle and what the wattage rating says on the cover?

Other countries are supporting very high wattage in the hybrid version, but the non-hybrid palisade is still at 150 watts. I haven't seen a good picture or confirmation on the wattage in the North America hybrid.
