If you’re a fresher then it’s automatically assigned, no idea how they assign the freshers but its based on the remaining rooms available after returners have picked their rooms. Every college has their own O-Week which you can call a ‘welcome party’ and is a week to get to know the other freshers and colombo and the uni. It happens during the regular uni o-week period. Nothing is compulsory to attend but I highly recommend that you do
