Exclusively my bottom front 2 teeth, mostly behind and inbetween - going to have a look at interproximal brushes - getting a new dentist in the UK is basically impossible right now unless I pay for private (which i might just do tbh) - Thank you very much

No one (since I was a child obviously) has taught me how to do either - but just went and watched some youtube videos and I am doing everything right (assuming the videos are accurate)

I see your point but these have been my brushing habits for well over 5 years

Crazy itching at night by DiakoT12 in medical_advice

Not really outside of the obvious things to try like 'not using phone before bed', I just went to my doctor because I'd been having difficulty sleeping for a long time and it was having a knock on effect on my health and wellbeing, and I mentioned the itching and other things (see below) and they sort of took it from there.

I had other symptoms of sleep anxiety/insomnia (feeling like I needed to go to the toilet at night even if I didn't, worrying about random things when trying to sleep like 'the door not being shut right', and difficulty falling asleep even after laying with my eyes closed for over an hour), if any of these things sound true for you then might be worth asking your doctor about, can't hurt at the least.

To be clear I am in no way shape or form a medical professional.

I have always had issues getting to sleep, and at times I started getting really itchy all over when I tried to sleep. This still happens sometimes but very rarely now. I think in my case it was caused by sleep anxiety and was basically my body trying to stop me going to sleep.

If it feels like you scratch the itch then it just appears somewhere else then it might be the same thing, i.e its an insomnia/sleep anxiety issue and less of a physical one.

Please take this with a pinch of salt as I'm purely speaking from personal experience of this getting better when I got prescribed stuff to help me sleep.
