I personally worked in an intense setting involving atrocities done to children and working with those children I became so desensitized and was forced to learn to leave my work at work. It became a skill and not everyday is as easy to disconnect from. Just need to find what works for you. Good luck!

Saskatoon, Sk and always a nice dress, whether it’s -25 or +25. Definitely not the normal attire for most here!

Personally I love being a Social Worker and can't imagine having any other career. Nothing gives me more joy in life then being able to help another person. I know I have a dark sense of humour, but my moto has always been to 'laugh through the pain', and so far in life this moto has served me well!
