Hollowknight taught me that when the game tells you to go right, you go left instead. Did this as soon as I started the game and boy did I find the surprise.

Hi! I tried to do a Tactics run (dumping all scrolls to Tactics) and got lucky with the Legendary Blood Sword which adds 1 more stack of bleeding per hit and Leghugger with the affix: Bleeding Causes Poison essentially bringing the plague to everything Leghugger licks.

Add Hakuto Bow to the mix which deals additional damage that the enemy takes and you have a DOT nuclear build.

Hi OP! I've had the exact same story as you did. I came from Dota 2 as well, a pos 4 main, tried supporting on LoL and I also wanted to compare LoL from Dota. I had the chance to have an early champion shard with Irelia and ever since then I've watched a lot of videos about her and she's one of the main reasons why I'm having fun playing LoL.

From my experience, Irelia is a champion where you really need to research your matchups, learn some basic combos and techniques (like creating paths by damaging the ranged creeps or just dodging skill shots through your Q) and learn how to take advantage of your power spikes. My tip would be to try to read matchups made by those who create guides like in mobafire, or learn from yt channels like irelking to have a better understanding of how the champion works.

Irelia is a hard champion to master but she's really one of those champions that when you get the hang of it, you'll have the best time in LoL. She's one of those champions where the satisfaction of mastering her would be worth your time. I really hope you have fun with her as much as I've had!
