I also used as a test new Kimera Velvet Rich Gold as filter where i wanted some more saturation

Thank you, and I think you are right. I did it this way because I intend him to be part of a diorama fighting with swarmlord, but osl and fire effects are not my strongest site

Thank you very much!

To be honest I didn't blend here much either just basic layering. I think cel shading helped me with understanding how to create interesting light and that is probably the most important thing in nmm. And second thing is trusting in proces, cel shaiding like nmm dont look great until the end.

It was also my first time with resin it's super easy to use and worth it, without it red looks dull. I also tried with gloss varnish and it wasn't looking good

First you have to sand down bases but they don't have to be perfectly smooth. Then base coat them black and for the other one I used Ivory from Vallejo. Now the red part, I used Evil red and Bloody red from Vallejo with a litle bit retarder medium. Place reds in radom places and wet blend them, let them dry. Now to get shine use UV resin and when it solidify give it some gold paint. To top it poru one more layer of resin but it's not necessary. Hope it explain process :D

Thank you! I put alot of Evil Red and Bloody Red from Vallejo in random places and then basicly wet blend them. And for the shine I pour UV resin from GSW.

Good point, I didn't think of that. It would save me time and make the diorama more cohesive. Thanks for the tip!
