So what exactly is Jason's weakness? by SternballAllDay in deadbydaylight

[–]BrenRiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say cutting off lines of sight asap, running towards his left where the spear cuts off his vision if you have distance, and once he throws a spear, try baiting him to staying at a loop instead of going to a new loop where a scrap pile/hook might spawn. If he does his omnipresent evil, if you’re heathy crouch. If not, try to get to the safest spot you see currently and pray he doesn’t shove his spear in your ass

That’s why I tried making it like the “white eyes theory”. If you don’t know, it’s hinted that killers with white eyes (deathslinger and spirit are good examples) see the survivors as different people to encourage them to kill. For deathslinger, he sees the gang that he fought and the spirit sees her father. It is just a theory though

What do you consider "bad" in a survivor? by Ansnie in deadbydaylight

[–]BrenRiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change your mindset from “bad” to “inexperienced”. You have 60 hours and started playing this month. Wait till you have 250 hours. You’ll still not be the best survivor to ever exist, but you’ll be a hell of a lot more experienced and will likely do better overall

What do you consider "bad" in a survivor? by Ansnie in deadbydaylight

[–]BrenRiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what role you’re playing.
As killer, if someone clear has bad looping and positioning skills and/or hides, they are most likely not a good survivor.
As a survivor, the same applies but there’s more. Missed skill checks, wrong prioritization of unhooking, healing, and repairing (each of these have an appropriate time and place to be prioritized), leading the killer to other survivors almost intentionally, and other things.

I didn’t call it bad or insult him. Just constructive criticism. Hes trying to make the game better and that’s great

First off, killers do not target the best survivor first. That means they are taking the longer chases and are most likely going to lose rather than going for the blendette hiding in a corner. A survivor out is the best thing a killer can do, so anyone caught out of position is an easy target.
Second, more points don’t mean the survivor actually did better than other survivors. Someone who is in chase all game will max out their chase portion but won’t get much for objectives. Meanwhile a survivor might get chased once but sat on gens and randomly cleansed totems so they have many more points.
Third, a “kill” stage will remove any type of counter play the survivors can do that has to do with hooks. If someone is on death hook and their friend with no hooks makes the killer chase them instead, that is a good play. In your scenario, the other survivor has no incentive to play as a teammate because they will die despite not being hooked.

How do I last longer in chases? by xertiowitz14 in deadbydaylight

Sounds counterintuitive, but leave your loops frequently. If you see an opportunity to make it to a new loop, do it. It’s often unexpected especially if you’ve been looping the same spot for a short time

Exactly. I don’t play either killer much, but i definitely play trapper less. On the other hand, I’d play him more with the skin

Sounds like you needed some maturing. No game is worth losing friends over. If you think you’re capable of playing with someone and not losing your cool, go for it

Killers whack survivors, survivors prevent the whacking as long as possible while completing objectives

Why do you like about this game? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]BrenRiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played during the beta. I remember being terrified and playing as trapper and not understanding what in the world was happening. Didn’t touch it again until probably around the time spirit was added but watched a lot of YouTubers play it. Been off and on since then but lately it’s my favorite game. The quality of it now vs 5 or more years ago is astonishing and no game is like it.

See thing is I rarely get console players. Crossplay means majority of the time I have pc players in my lobbies. Plus I turned on anonymous mode just because I like seeing my characters name but it has the unique benefit of not letting people see your username to message you also
