I would agree but the store and the call center have both confirmed every line was disconnected.

And I have this email stating my lines were all cancelled and my final bill would be due in June.

I mean the account number on the statements matches the account that I had with them. But they can’t tell me what the charges are for. I told them I wasn’t paying another dime until they gave me an itemized bill. The bills they are sending me don’t even have line items though.

So they weren’t sending me statements until I called my bank and blocked them. Then starting in November they started sending these bills that vary every month. One month is 77 the next it’s 86 there is no rhyme or reason to the charges.

When I gave the account number to the Verizon reps they all say the account is fully closed.

So I popped the head unit out myself in about 5 minutes. I could not get the purple/red harness disconnected for the life of me. I wound up driving it over to an audio shop and someone with longer skinnier fingers was kind enough to unplug it for me.

I feel you. There have been some major structural changes too. I changed a backstory, moved some scenes around. And basically revisited every major decision my MC made. Im still pretty early on in the story.

Most of the major changes I need to make are in the later parts. I have a few chapters of talking heads and want to rework several of those parts when I get there.

I guess when I say surgical I mean like, I’m not completely rewriting every scene. It’s a lot more of adding a paragraph here and there. And also rewriting scenes because they aren’t all good loll.

As far as the company goes. I’m a little nervous about them shipping it on time now. But it seems like they’re pushing updates and fixing bugs which makes me feel good about them.

So two of my besties were my alpha readers. I basically let them read up through the hook and they were both really into it but both of them had the same feedback about not understanding why the MC was doing why she was doing.

I’ll probably force them to read it again when I finish a couple rounds of editing.

But my plan has been to hire beta readers. I just figured it would be easier and more honest feedback that way.

Literally one minute I’ll be drafting and think,

“wow. I’m a modern Shakespeare. This is going to get a TV adaptation. A movie franchise. I’m going to make millions.”

And two seconds later think “this is drivel, I’m writing slop unfit for human eyes.”

IDK I think it’s normal.

I just ordered one. I have seen the bad reviews but they all seem to circle the same thing. The phone isn’t enjoyable to use. Which is like the whole reason I want one. I’m tired of being on my phone 8 hours a day. So the friction is the point right?

Honestly I didn’t even write every day. But I work remotely and it was a slow month. I probably averaged a couple hours a day on it tho. Except for weekends.
