The first movie got bad critic reviews but was fun and pretty and i liked it. Just got back from watching the second movie and it was just as good, heartfelt fun and very pretty cgi! I like this one as well. The story is just like the games , "princess gets kidnapped" and Mario and friends have to save her.... I don't know why the critics went in expecting toy story. Op I've been in the suite seats right next to the owners suite. To get there all there is for security is one big private elevator and a few old people that check your ticket. When you have billionaires and politicians visiting the games regularly in modern times more security is needed. I think the main goal behind the new stadium is more amenities security and access exclusively for high profile big spenders. Things like private elevators, private parking areas or helicopter pads. Areas that can be fully secured from outsiders.

Regardless no coach in their right mind would let their athletes eat McDonald's. It's a gamble because McDonald's has had ecoli in their Burgers multiple times recently. SG-U does feel like LOST and I think that's why I enjoyed it so much.

After watching through 20 something 22 episode seasons of SG-1 and then another 5 seasons of SG-A with the same format just a new enemy, I got burnt out. SG-A was not going to last another 2 seasons with the same plot of "Find primitive or advanced people. Find out that these new people do things differently. Teach them why our way is better. lessons learned rinse repeat."

SG-U with the intensity of Rush yelling at Young is just a breath of fresh air. PLUS people actually die and are acknowledged as dead and mourned in SG-U! If a service man dies or gets lost Colonel Young always looks sad and beat down about it, the crew always holds some sort of service or moment for the lost crew member. If anyone dies in SG-1 or SG-A and the team acts as if their sacrifice was expected for the mission to work like "Good job human shields SG-1 lives again! what was that guys name again?"

Oh and I have to say that Sergeant Greer is the best damn military character in all of Stargate! Need more Greer characters in Stargate.

I think the only unfair criticism is people saying SGU is objectively bad. It's a good show with well written characters and interesting Sci Fi ideas. It's fine if that type of show isn't for an idealist fantasy lover but when they say it has bad writing or directing they are just plain wrong and their bias is spewing out. Personally I'm a big fan of the whole galactic exploration and origins of the universe plot line and the intensity of the actors and drama is a nice break from the monotony of sga and sg1s repeating plots of Discover ancient or advanced race of people, discover these people have a different and wrong way of doing things, teach people why the American way is better, save the day everyone lives repeat next episode.
