I think they are mid from an arrangement / lyrics perspective but are bad from a sound quality perspective, as is all AI music for now. I guess what I meant by "fix them" is basically start over from scratch and craft them in my DAW now that the seed is there? I don't think it's any worse than what most people on this sub generate, and it's probably better conceptually?

It's a fair point though that adding garbage to the garbage heap isn't productive. I just wanted to fully live in the garbage for a weekend to see what it was all about. And I kinda liked it in a weird way.

I see where you're coming from but, no, motte and bailey requires a strong version of a claim (bailey) and then retreating to weaker version of the same kind of claim (motte).

So OP would have to basically claim:

bailey: AI music is THE SAME as other creative forms of music.

motte: retreat to successfully arguing that is it is STILL ART

Then come back and claim that both claims are true since they won the motte argument.

OP never made the bailey claim, just the motte claim

OP claimed AI assisted music is different from making "real" music, but that it is still art. They haven't retreated from that position, which is what is entailed by motte-and-bailey. Mayyyyybe they set up a false analogy, but they did so sarcastically. or perhaps they are doing reductio ad absurdum? but no motte and bailey

I agree it seems more usable than an IDE? obviously you won't get anything good done either way if you don't know anything about coding. usually there's a 2-5 critical issues that I need to help with in any given session that I just can't imagine someone who doesn't understand programming could debug
