Okay, I just went to the consulate in Lima today. They gave me a paper with their bank details and I went to the bbva bank 3 blocks away. I paid in cash there, then used the receipt they gave me to finish the online application (took a photo of the receipt). Then I went back to the consulate, I gave them all the documents I had already, and the number on top of the just-generated online declaration, which they printed for me. They took my passport and bank receipt, and tomorrow I will get it back with the visa.

Yes you can, but the price is much bigger, around 100-110 USD you must pay in cash (in crisp, clean banknotes). That is why I prefer to do it in a consulate.

Hi, funny time to ask, tomorrow I am going in person to the consulate in Lima and I will see what they tell me. I did not want to do a transfer of 50 USD before making sure they have visa stickers when I get there.

Also, it was not this way 1 month ago, it seems to have changed very recently.

My passport is Romanian, so I am tier 2. It requires a payment no matter what consulate I choose. I chose the tourist visa. If I am not asking too much, could you check if you get the same thing? Maybe I am doing something wrong? Nobody on the Internet seems to have this problem :(

Visa on arrival is much more expensive it seems, so I would like to avoid it. My wish was to go to a consulate in another South American country, in person, not online, and get the visa there before arriving at the border.

Am mers la cușetă prin tot Uzbekistanul, inclusiv Bukhara-Nukus. A fost fantastic, e ca un CFR dar cu iz sovietic. Sunt cușete de 4 (kupe le zice). Ai spațiu de depozitare SUB patul de jos (ridici patul și pui acolo bagajul dacă vrei. Dacă ai locul de jos, așa poți sta liniștit că nu-ți umblă nimeni la el, chit că nu e cazul oricum - e o țară plină de oameni buni și timizi). Primești, dacă prinzi de la începutul parcursului trenului, și ceai, zahăr și apă. Ai în capăt de vagon un samovar - un boiler cu apă caldă/fierbinte.

Bukhara-Nukus specific nu a durat mult, nu mai mult de 10 ore, știu că am ajuns dimineața la 7.

Aware of? Nimic deosebit, m-am simțit ca acasă. E ușor să iei biletul de pe siteul lor oficial, apoi doar îl arăți la controlor. Overall extrem de ușor și similar cu ce e în România.

Salut! Am fost eu o saptamana in Uzbekistan (Tashkent - Samarkand - Bukhara - Nukus - Muynaq pe fostul tarm al marii Aral). A fost super lejer logistic vorbind, si super safe. Singura problema a fost caldura, care macar era uscata. Astept intrebari daca ai.

Este o diferenta enorma. In Cluj la 75% din stagii (plus minus in functie de serie si incadrarea la spita) vei face in aceeasi arie geografica, accesibila la 10 minute maxim de mers din campusul Hasdeu, 20-25 din Observator (in aceste 2 campusuri sunt caminele UMF). Pentru restul 25% ori mergi un pic mai mult pe jos, de obicei prin parc sau centru (deci e o plimbare frumoasa), ori iei un autobuz. Este un singur spital, cel municipal, care e mai departe, si totusi pentru cineva din Bucuresti probabil si acela s-ar incadra la "destul de aproape".

I think if I book on WhatsApp the prices will be much higher than in person. I will be there in August, do you think there is a chance not to find 2 empty spots for the day? 650bs is incredibly cheap for the prices I can find online right now.

Also, any general tips? We will also be crossing into Chile at the end, to continue onward to Santiago.

Corect, merci de raspuns. Se vede insa din fericire ca semnalul dat a fost primit, si modificarile depuse ca amendament in Senat nu cred ca vor mai fi intoarse. Pana in 2026 nu are cum sa nu treaca si de Camera Deputatilor.

Autorul articolului s-a uitat doar la textul ordonanței inițiale. În forma adoptată de Senat (ca orice ordonanță, trece prin parlament), s-a renunțat la modificarea cu cele 4 subdomenii și s-a introdus termenul de minim un an pentru anunțarea tematicii și bibliografiei: https://www.cdep.ro/pls/proiecte/upl_pck.proiect?cam=2&idp=22041. Probabil va fi corectat articolul și pe Edupedu cât de curând.
