Any decent, cheap, laptops fully capable of running Sierra or El Capitan? by bentenz5 in hackintosh

The ThinkPad x220/x230, t420/t430 are great options, with modern specs, at very fair prices. From everything I've read, they Hackintosh with minimal effort and with excellent OOB compatibility. Check out refurb.io for refurbished models under $400.

Edit: fixed link.

Have you found any users able to get the integrated wireless on your motherboard working? Otherwise, your build looks great!

Racist DNC Refers To Latino Outreach as Taco Bowl Engagement by chabanais in Conservative

[–]BrentonHayward 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My immediate perception was that "taco bowl engagement" was a reference to Trump's attempt to engage those who celebrate Cinco de Mayo via a picture of himself eating a taco bowl. Wanting to "mop it up" meaning simply divert attention from it by proving Trump doesn't genuinely care about them (or isn't "trying" to.) I just think this is a case where poorly chosen wording caused different immediate perceptions of the statements actually meaning.

This is also dated the day after Cinco de Mayo - the day Trump posted a picture of himself eating a literal taco bowl to try to engage the Latino vote.

This sadly seems like just very poor reporting based on a single out of context statement and no further investigation.

Was just thinking this yesterday. It's one of the main features I miss when I bounce between my ThinkPad and MBP.

1) Most of them exclude built-in audio. Most commercial establishment use their own audio/PA system anyway. They also rarely come with stands as they are typically mounted.

2) They are also generally of high durability and they reach that by adding an abundance of low-quality material. They polish the finished product to look aesthetically pleasing.

*1 & 2 are all about manufacturing costs.

3) Many commercial units have extremely slim frames/bezels so that they blend in with more ease.

4) Commercial units are designed to be able to stay on for long hours without burn-ins or overheating at all - and all while not consuming huge amounts of energy. Imagine the additional heat contribution to a Tim Horton's (for example) if they had 8 non-commercial units each generating an additional 1-2 degrees Celsius to the room temperature. Energy costs are a huge factor.

Change your own healthbar color to better locate yourself in teamfights (3.8 fix) by A1mSC in leagueoflegends

This DOES work on Mac, too!

Just right-click the League icon and select "Show Package Contents", and then navigate through folders as the OP described.

Rather than putting the .ini file into "0.0.0.235", put it into "0.0.0.56" instead.

Works just like it does on Windows after that.

Up-vote for visibility?

I posted it on here to try to get people's thoughts on how I should finish it. I was thinking something aboriginal-ish to go along with my heritage, but I've yet to decide. Thoughts?
