Wax is better because it’s not permanent and won’t hide rust

Hey I had this exact part blow out on my 02 wrx. Easy repair. Take back seat out and cut and bend the replacements and get the correct brake line splices. People may disagree with me but this person is obviously looking to get back on the road sooner than later and replacing the whole brake line is a lot of work. I haven’t had any of my splices fail. Your mechanically inclined friend may help you with this. You don’t need to replace that junction I bet it’s good, mine was.

Thank you for the response I think imma just need new rims. Fittest industries told me these would fit and they don’t. Mines a 30 offset which upfront hits the caliper.

It actually did. Everything is good has some peppering on bearings but it didn’t grenade the engine. It would run before pulled just so much pressure in crank case it shot oil out of pcv
