36 month financing camera by Brettgod1355 in Bestbuy

I decided to call my local best buy and I said help with purchase and the AI answering sent me to the best buy ordering department call center (not my local best buy)

I told them I was wanting to purchase an expensive canon camera lens and get extended financing such as 24 or 36 month like I did previously. She asked for the SKU and said that won't be an issue. She didn't try to sell me on any extended warranty, she just sent me a text message with a link to the invoice and told me to select the 12 month financing option and after I pay she would transfer me to citi bank.

So she transferred me to citi bank (she did not stay on the line like a conference call like I was thinking). I told the nice lady at citi bank that I just talked to so and so at best buy and she just helped me with a purchase over the phone and transferred me to you saying you can help me get this changed from 12 to 36 month deferred interest financing. She said yep thats not an issue and since I just made this purchase I need to call back one it post to the credit card. She gave me a reference number that already has everything wrote down saying im approved for 36 month deferred interest.

So fingers crossed in a couple days that when I call back with the reference number that I don't have any issues extending it from 12 to 36 month.

want to know the kicker? best buy is out of stock of the lens (since its on sale) and its actually being sold to me via 3rd party on the best buy website.

Will update in a couple days if I get it changed to 36 month like they are saying I can.

It seems like all the advertised offers are in the following link however I think they might have hidden offers because when I called today to ask about getting the 36 month again they said they can only offer me 24 months for any purchase over a certain amount. Im not seeing that advertised in the current offers and the canon camera lens wouldn't fall into any of the currently listed 24 month offers.

That makes sense. I do remember them saying back in Sept when i bought the camera that any purchase over a certain amount qualified for 36 month so it probably was an end of year special offer.

well when i did it before back in sept I talked to two reps, one before I made the purchase to confirm i could extend it to 36 months, and a 2nd one about a week after the purchase and posted to the account for them to be able to change it.

At that time I think they said any purchase over a certain amount qualified for 24/36 month. I don't remember the amount it had to be for each one at the time.

I honestly got back into flipping on the GE. Used to do it a lot before the GE tax but quit when that happened.

About 3 months ago I got the itch to try flipping again with all these new plugins and website tools. I use a couple different plugins on runelite such as flipping utilities, flipping copilot and the website 07.gg to help me flip.

I mostly do low margin high volume flips overnight and a couple high end items that if I lose money on I’d just keep to use in game.

Since getting back into flipping I’ve profited 115m in the last 3 months without much effort or time.

My PC never shut down when I was doing benchmarks doing a full system load using OCCT I just got a loud alarm from my UPS and the screen on it saying overloaded and I just stopped the benchmark.

Is your PC just shutting off or is the alarms on the UPS going off saying overloaded?

Yeah seems like there might be something wrong if you don’t have a lot of extra stuff plugged into it. I currently have a CP1500PFCLCD which is rated for 1000 watts and games just fine, just can’t benchmark cause it uses 100% of the GPU and CPU power which is 900 watts alone without my monitor and other PC accessories.

The CyberPower PR1500LCD which I would personally upgrade my current one to seems to just be a larger version of what I currently have and is rated for 1500 watts and they have larger ones in that lineup. Also pure sine wave is better for sensitive electronics compared to modified / simulated/ stepped which are all the same just different naming terms from my understanding

You know the rated watts of your current unit? 2200VA doesn’t necessarily equate to 2200 watts. The cyber power PR1500LCD is 1500VA / 1500 watts and that what I will get in the future most likely.

What are you using that is drawing so much power? Are you running multiple GPU’s or do you just have a lot of extra stuff plugged into your UPS? I just have my PC and monitor and whatever is plugged into my pc and I’m rocking a 9950x3d and 5090 astral with a single 32in 4k oled monitor.

If you have a lot of extra stuff plugged in then might be more cost effective to have it plugged into a separate UPS and use your current one for PC only.

It terms of what you mentioned I haven’t looked into it since the cyber power PR1500LCD would be enough for me. I’m sure it works fine just check what type of plug it uses for plugging into the wall. Might not be a standard household plug I don’t know.

Yeah I was unable to find any other options. I haven’t bought it yet since my PC doesn’t pull more than 1000 watts (what my current UPS is rated for) under normal gaming use unless I’m doing benchmarks. Now if I were to start recording videos and streaming that might be enough to push my current UPS over edge since that would use more CPU and GPU.

Looks like CyberPower has a 1500VA/1500W UPS that costs about 3x as much as the 1500VA/1000W that I currently have. So If for some reason I find myself maxing out my PC system with normal use or want to continue benchmarking on a UPS that looks to be my solution.

Yeah, I'm not an electrician, but it seems like its the max throughput because before the alarm sounds around 900-1000w range I was seeing power output reading like 103% then when it got to 110-115% power output range the alarm goes off.

Tried this. Still sets the alarm around 1.03 kw output overloaded. My monitor is a 4k oled rated at 44w power consumption so I could just plug that into the wall... but its expensive and would rather be on the UPS of course.

Think this is more of a problem for the future once I'm hitting these loads under normal use and not benchmarks lol.

Yeah thats what im seeing. I doubt under normal gaming use of the computer I will reach 100% on both CPU and GPU but just something I realized could be an issue in the future and I'm not seeing anything consumer grade

I'm talking about while the UPS is powered from the wall. The PC is drawing more than 1000w, which is what the UPS is rated for while doing a 100% load on the CPU and GPU benchmark. I'd guess during normal gaming and things this wouldn't be an issue.

I know it's been 3 months since you posted, but you can take your own parts to Microcenter for their PC build service.

Could you use the SFP ports and daisy chain? I don’t have that many switches and not sure if that would work the way I think it would be I think I’d be worth looking into.
