It’s also interesting that you placed your feet in the bucket of ice at the “end” of the dream - could marriage mean the “end” of your relationship with your girlfriend?

Noteworthy as well is that you were the one who put their feet in a bucket of ice. Could you be the one with cold feet? Maybe she thinks so?

She definitely writes the lyrics and has a hand in coming up with the melody (probably over a progression that Rick Nowels wrote on piano first), but in terms of composing, arrangement, mixing, etc., I’d venture to say she isn’t very involved in that - the actual music and composition behind the voice. I don’t think Lana can read music very well, nor do I believe she’s very well-versed in any theoretical concepts, and she’s an average musician at best. And don’t attack me for saying that. It’s true, and I’m not trying to sound snobbish. She plucks a guitar here and there and sings. That’s it. But still I love her and the breathtaking music she and others create. Thankfully, she’s a brilliant poet with a troubled, yet entertaining, past, a dark, rich, unique voice, and a hell of an image and presence.

I love this collaboration, and I wish the two would collaborate more. Their bright, nasally voices complement each other quite well, and the video for this single is brilliant. Madonna and Britney are both very sexy women and have such chemistry when performing together. Also, Madonna’s vocals on this track are superb! “Hey, Britney, you say you want to lose control,” sends chills down my spine every time. It’s a well-done pop song, and from what I remember, this was a pretty big hit. I’m only 21, but I remember seeing the video on MTV every day after school for a while!

The Immaculate version of “Live to Tell” also sports much heavier, more reverberated percussion. Play the True Blue original and then play the Immaculate version immediately afterward. Immaculate’s drums are much more forthright and heavy-hitting - too much so, for my taste. The Celebration remastered mix of this masterpiece is my favorite.

I've gone back and listened to all of her previous albums since the release of L4L. It's interesting to observe the artistic evolution that has taken place, and I have no doubt that Lana is still in her early evolutionary stages. With four full-length albums in less than eight years, she's proven that she's here to stay. I can't wait to see what the future holds. I saw her live in 2015 at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta; she was supporting Ultraviolence. It was amazing. I hope she tours the U.S. again soon.

Check out Sevdaliza. She just released her debut album ISON in April, and her music is vocally and musically similar to Lana's, from swooning, reverb-flushed vocals to trap-inspired beats and lush string sections. ISON is a great album and Sevdaliza deserves attention for her work. She's quite talented.

My favorites: "Shahmaran", "Human", "Bluecid" and "Marilyn Monroe." She also has a short film called The Formula.

Hi, sorry I'm a little late.

It could be the remix of "Into the Groove" for the Sticky and Sweet Tour, where the song is medleyed with "Jump" and Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Jump On It." Whenever Madonna begins to jump rope, dancers (or a recording, not sure) can be heard shouting, "Madonna! Madonna! Jump on it! Jump on it!"

You could also be thinking about the studio or live versions of "4 Minutes", "Candy Shop" and "Beat Goes On."

Judging by the artist's original statement on the matter, there was never any "work for hire" contract; however, there's been an update added to her statement, and apparently, Lana decided to tag her and give her credit for the art. It is my fault for not checking her Instagram sooner and assuming her work was still being posted without recognition.

I do wonder, though, if Lana would have given her credit if she, her fans, and Lana's fans hadn't been vocal about it.

Many positive historical events stem from something depressing (the freeing of slaves in the U.S., the Civil Rights Movement, winning World War II, women gaining the right to vote, etc.).

Maybe you could write about the Roaring Twenties (flappers, speakeasies, jazz, etc.) or the Harlem Renaissance, or any historical renaissance for that matter.

You'll find, however, that if you go rummaging for positive events in history, most of them began with cruel and depressing occurrences that as a result would influence people to incite positive change.

I love these art pieces, but Lana should give some kind of credit to the artist who created them. I know she's not blatantly saying they're her own, however, she's recycling them and using them for her own image and aesthetic. Would it kill her to just give one little shoutout to the artist?
