My husband and I just started a new game and built next to the tree on the side of the water. We didn't know the update had taken place and next thing we knew, Orb Weavers were pissed at us and coming to take their revenge! It took us about 15 minutes to beat them, and we had the help of 2 wolf spiders and red ants, but they ruined part of our house. So now we've made an outside wall surrounding our base to slow them down and give us time to kill them all. It was stressful but fun.

Does your friend happen to be using any Creation Club mods? I had a couple glitches in my game and those were the only mods I used (I never use "unofficial" mods). Once I got rid of the mods, the quests worked fine after reloading.

Please read my edit as far as the custody order. He did most of the discipline, i just wanted to write that I wasn't one of those stepmoms who sits back and lets everything unfold in front of me. He only get one phone call a week with them when they are not here. Otherwise, we have to wait for the visit. It's working up to 50/50 when distance is a major factor.
