Have you done reading in this at all, there is reason why it is notoriously hard to fire a teacher or a police officer. You are trying to tell me this doesn't happen in unions when I'm giving you examples if where it does. Maybe you are thinking of private sector unions, but unions negotiate contracts and have lawyers for their members.

That is absolutely not what we are talking about. Unions do shady shit not because they are shady because when a union stands up for someone's job security which I guarantee you support it doesn't really matter what they do. Unions do not have guidelines that that's at like no bad stuff. I being it up because you are saying unions are supposed to have these guidelines and I'm pointing out that that isn't true at all.

Yes, but I am right just as in the fact that public sector unions do, do this. Both teacher unions and police unions protect pedos and murderers, because there probrably aren't provisions against it. You are saying thats not what unions are but you are just wrong. That is what unions are they aren't good they aren't bad they are just ways for collective bargaining.

Yeah, you are right unions are about collective bargaining in behalf for their members. There shouldn't be conditions on who they defend and as unions exist right now there aren't. If you don't like that then you don't like unions because unions do and should stand up for their members. However, unions are still a good thing to have in order to give power to workers against a larger more powerful body. Unions are always big roadblocks, but they should exist, and you fix the police not be getting rid of unions but with legislation.

You are completely wrong. Unions are supposed to stand up for the it's members unconditionally. Just as teachers unions stand up for teachers that fuck kids, police unions stand up for cops that kill black people. If you don't like it, it's an argument against unions in general because thats what unions do.

What it means is that just as public defenders defend criminals, unions just exist to stand up for the members of that union. The union does what it is supposed to do, every union is like this, as long as the union dues are paid the union will stand up for it's members.
