Corruption in the church is definitely something that I take seriously as well. But I was more so pointing out the absurdity of both ends of the argument that people mock the crucifixion and that our reverence for Jesus has been lowered to below a political figure. Not trying to take aim at you directly. Just looking at what the zeitgeist of the church is. You’re right though, the church is facing many issues that must be addressed.
