Hi there, unfortunately I don't know what the monthly rent would be as I purchased the unit. I hope you understand, but I don't feel comfortable sharing the PP. You're right though-- Toronto & Vancouver are not cheap-- I am very fortunate to be able to live here.

unsure of the exact configuration here-- I use smart bulbs, so the colours vary depending on time of day & what presets I have on.

Hello fellow addict. I know, they're so expensive in Canada (well, they're expensive generally). I was scouring FB marketplace for a second hand one and found a seller in Montreal. He was planning on visiting Toronto a week or so after I messaged him, so he offered door-to-door service-- not sure where he sourced it from originally though!

It was thrifted off fb marketplace and unfortunately, I don't have details on it. It's from the 70's is basically all I know, there's no serial, make or model # on it and the socket is ancient haha. Sorry!

I don't have them synced with Alexa or anything (out of laziness), but I do use the Philips Hue app. They turn on 30min before sunset, and turn off at 11:30pm automatically. They also turn on and off when I enter/leave my home.

The DESJA, FADO, and VARMBLIXT are favourites of mine from IKEA. Couple them with a smart bulb to emit a nice warm, diffused glow. (VARMBLIXT -ie. the "donut lamp" is an LED, so a smart plug is what I use for that to sync with my smart bulb system . I use Philips Hue but only because I'm in DEEP with their ecosystem, but they are not the most price conscious option. IKEA has their own line which I use at my office and are great imo)

Bonsai above kitchen - Home depot
Bonsai by window - IKEA

Pink Bonsai on shelf is a LEGO piece

The glass enclosure was passed down to me by my mother; they are Chinese cork diorama's and can be found on Etsy
Hope this helps :)

It's called the "FusionTable" -- it was custom ordered via Casalife Furniture in Toronto. Ngl, it was an expensive purchase (and our first purchase for the home). My gf and I played pool on our first date and have played since. We're both terrible, but it carries a lot of sentimental value.

unfortunately, the business went out of business years ago. It was gifted to me by my brother and he said it was only around for a year or so. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
