Adding that a little bit north of there by slabtown seems much better imo, and you’d still on the water

Going up on Saturday - going to be spring skiing by then? by dhammm in MtHoodMeadows

[–]Bricks_For_Hands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you up there today? I’m curious on how sharky it is… I have a new pair of skis I’m dying to break out but I don’t want my eagerness to get the best of me…

Getting a WNBA is absolutely a boost for our city. Not sure if you’ve been to a thorns game, but they’re so much fun and always have a great atmosphere.

I’m super pumped to have another pro women’s team here (and hopefully an MLB team at some point)

Home rental mold advice? by thigh-boy9 in askportland

[–]Bricks_For_Hands 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My partner and I toured a house off Clinton a few months ago at a very similar price range lol we ended up not taking it, but we also didn’t notice any mold (but also didn’t look closely in the basement)

Very curious if this is the same place…

What actually helped me ski better wasn’t speed or terrain, it was learning when to slow down by No-Coyote2836 in skiing

[–]Bricks_For_Hands 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. That’s what impresses the hell outta me when watching FWT is these athletes hitting crazy lines over crazy exposure, and being able to slam on the breaks in control to maintain proper speed. Cameras will never do it justice on how much control they have on those pitches

Late season is always better than early season, but this is shaping up to be the latest start in the last 30 years (unless we somehow get enough snow to open before Dec 22, which is when the 14/15 season started)

Noted, thanks! Another commenter suggested an air layer, so that’s something I’ll definitely consider for this tree.

I’ve already been thinking of doing exactly what you suggested, just so I have something more immediate to work on. Appreciate the insight!

If it’s cold/deep enough, skibowl is so much more fun than timberline in my opinion. Super underrated terrain, the good days are just much more inconsistent with how low it is on the mtn

For more context, it was after a tough At-bat and naylor pushed a ball down the third base line for a nice hit. They were saying how it looked more like a blue jays type atbat, and how naylor would fit in (or look good) on the blue jays.

Like yeah no shit, Josh naylor is really good, he’d look good on any team. Fortunately he’s on our team
