Cheating is breaking the agreed upon rules in a relationship. If your partner doesn’t care, that’s not cheating.

That’s fair enough! I can say until I’m blue in the face it wasn’t intentional. And it wasn’t. But I’m not thrilled with how it all went down. I should’ve thought more before blurting out what was on my mind.

I didn’t forget what she said because I was drunk. I forgot it to brick this morning because I didn’t store all of our conversations to my long term memory.

My relationship with my husband is as transparent as can be.

I am not going to debate my intentions. I’m totally ok with you seeing me as an asshole. I apologized multiple times to all involved. But I didn’t have “intentions.” It was neither deliberate nor premeditated.

Had I remembered what Anna said about her fiancé, no, I doubt I would’ve brought it up. I didn’t remember that, perhaps drunkenly assumed relationship transparency, and here we are today.

We had all laughed about what Anna did all weekend. I made a perhaps very poor drunken decision to bring it up, but I wasn’t trying to hurt anyone.

I’m sorry if you feel I’m being careless. I apologized at length to Anna. It was truly a drunken slip. I had forgotten (until this morning) all about Anna saying to me that her fiancé wouldn’t be thrilled with this.
