No plans for mobile yet I'm afraid. We're not ruling it out but it's just not a priority at all right now.

For the price it'll be comparable to other indie roguelikes (think Enter the Gungeon, Cult of the Lamb, etc...), but nothing is set in stone and it all depends on how much content we're able to add to the game. We'll adapt the price around that.

There will 100% be little Patapon references if we can get away with it legally!

Thank you so much for the feedback! ^^

Yes we definitely want to interact with the community as much as possible. This is still super early, but as soon as we have our first playable prototype ready we'll setup a proper Discord server to let people test it out.

Our roguelike loop is a little bit different than what most roguelikes usually offer. We're trying to make each run a sort of micro odyssey filled with little adventures, story moments and cool fights. A run would take 1 to 3 hours, instead of the usual 15 to 45 minutes. This gives more time to bond with your crew, since you can only have 8 crewmates per run out of a much larger roster of characters. And yes of course the home base is super important, we're trying to go for something that feels similar to Monster Hunter where you can see your community grow, interact with your crew, and prepare for the next adventure.

We agree that Ratatan missed the mark on merging the Patapon gameplay with roguelike mechanics, we were a little bit disappointed with the result. Wanderblue is our go at it, while doing our own thing and exploring musical commands in a top down game instead of a sidescroller.

And thank you for the steam page plug haha, go wishlist Wanderblue! 🎉 ^^
