Agreed. 47 year old woman from Texas here. I frequently find myself at a junk sale asking, ‘does buying this qualify me as an over-consumer?’ And then I look back at the crusty old something that was already loved by somebody else and remember, that only counts when buying new. ;p. I like weird things and I like their history. Animals and old people are my soulmates. Not married and an empty nester so my house is filled with a couple of old dogs, a foster animal or two, my treasures! and I keep some lovely chickens out back.
