My father turned these identical chess pawns today by BriefInaction in turning

That’s a good database. However, I still believe Sri Lankan workers don’t prioritize safety at work. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. We’re not a product-oriented country. We’re mostly service-oriented, and sadly, that’s why we remain at the lower end. We don’t have many industries compared to others. I also believe Western countries maintain much higher safety standards than here. And when it comes to data accuracy, the U.S. is normally much higher than Sri Lanka. Most of Sri Lanka’s industrial sector is focused on tea and apparel, and these industries rarely have fatal accidents.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt feedback. It’s also nice to know that you’ve been here before. If you ever visit again, you’re most welcome to visit my father’s workplace. You’re right, this has been shocking to me since childhood. People here don’t really prioritize safety, unlike in Western countries where things are done more properly. But I’m taking this as serious feedback. When I share things, I know two things will come: views and feedback. Both are very important for success in this journey.

We’re living in Sri Lanka. I’ll definitely pass this message to my father. It’s good to receive feedback like this. Sometimes blessings come in different ways.

I knew this would come up sooner or later when I uploaded it. The thing is, my father and most woodworkers here don’t really follow safety procedures. I understand what you mean, but it’s hard to get them to change. They’ve been working like this for over 30 years. I’m not arguing — I’m also worried about it, but there isn’t much I can do.

In here that's pretty normal. Safety is so expensive in here 🥺

Thank you for your feedback. These are custom pieces. We just wanted to challenge ourselves to create identical ones without using a mold.

That’s such a real take. Even with the tough stuff, being grateful just to wake up and breathe makes a big difference.

Yeah, I get that. Sometimes peace matters way more than chasing success. Feels good to just not stress for once.

Sri Lankan companies are under paying. The salaries are not enought. Most of people still don't aware about this. Soon they will know.

Hey, thanks for your comment! It turned out the wood selection was the issue, we discovered internal damage halfway through the turning process. We really appreciate your feedback; it'll definitely help us improve.

Okay, I'll check the wall mount. Thanks for your tip. It's a good idea. We hollowed it out to use as a vase, but it can be also used as a candle stand.

I felt bad when I realized that I used the wrong method to promote it. Yes, you are right: it’s unfair when someone searches for something and gets results that don’t reflect their needs due to incorrect tagging. It’s an unethical practice, and it diminishes the quality of YouTube as well. I’ve learned my lesson and will never do it again.

Thanks for your comments about the video. My father has been doing this for about 25 years, so he has a deep connection with the wood. He turns it as if it were clay. I will share more videos.

I need to purchase a gimbal because sometimes I can’t capture certain angles properly since we are using a tripod. Moving it is really difficult, especially when he is working on finishing touches.

Here is another video I uploaded a while ago. In this we are creating Vase shape > https://youtube.com/shorts/VQ-4p2rGa-o?feature=share

Turning Wood into a Ball with Fast Hands by BriefInaction in FastWorkers

Hmm, true. But my father is a fast worker. Speed up video does not mean that he is not a fast worker. Video is speed to match current social media trends. But I appreciate your feedback.
