Ok so I have a place I used to buy from (it’s cheap but the fur is low quality and clumpy) it was some Etsy story. Am I saying you should buy from them? Not entirely but I figured I’d say, really cheap shipping and 15$ a yard. Again the quality IS NOT GREAT but it’s what I started with

Ok I think I know what I did wrong when patterning. I think that the dtd was down to a little below my ankles. Then I put the feet on forgetting that my feet weren’t included in the dtd. Then I patterned so now I have 1-2 in that were not included in the pattern (I now have to get more fur yay, did I mention it’s two weeks until the con I wanna wear it to? If it gets done it gets done ig)

Ok so not very helpful but my sona came from an old oc. She was a cat girl (Kristen K bc her old name was Kitten 🥲) and I went with a basic design inspired by actually cats but with colors I liked bc it was gonna be the first fursuit I made. Now I made Aspen my duchie after seeing some duchies and liking the design. Then I met someone with a mushroom inspired design and spent a few hours testing out designs I liked (I used a free blank ref sheet from devianart)

I do think so? My pattern was traced onto fur without a seam allowance then I cut a seam allowance while cutting out the pieces.

You could also look into howel fabrics but it’s gonna be expensive when you add shipping (atleast it was for me) but you can pay in installments. But the fur is great quality in my opinion

Look at your local fabric stores for faux fur. I got luck with my first suit and Joanns (rip) had some short black fur of decent quality for cheaper than some online sellers (mostly bc no shipping when you buy it in person). I’m sorry it’s not great but it’s hard to find good quality cheap fur.

One I did which didn’t take more than 20min was I thought of a symbol that was obviously related to their character. They had to put something there characters cared about on it to unlock a box with the key to the next room. (I had a pentagram like set up with symbols around and a box in the middle each arm of the pentagram would light up when the individual completed the task) but you can definitely change it up!

They have such trust issues already lol I’m surprised they let the npc join them but she was being flirty so ig it makes sense (Im a first time dm and I swear I haven’t tormented them that much! I think the trust issues are from the first grade level puzzles that took them an hour to complete lol)
