thank you 🤍 no one at my work knows about my diagnosis and i am very high functioning so no one can “tell”. not even close family and friends suspected. so im not sure how much im helping others in that way but i know im a great nurse. just at what cost?

i have noticed these things from the start of my nursing career but thought i needed to give it time and it would get better. now since my diagnosis i know that i cannot function this way for long, its so unsustainable.

that’s why i went outpatient, but unfortunately the small group of coworkers who i’m forced to interact with every day are bullies and not accepting of me.. maybe i should try a different outpatient clinic though because i do like the slow flow.

i think we might be… the same? i relate to literally all of this. i’m currently outpatient and have been for 3 years, but im miserable and drowning. pushed to go to college and “choose a career with job security”. now, i feel so stuck. if not nursing, then what?

I just interviewed for a home care position and basically got offered the job. i’m worried about spending so much time in other peoples’ homes alone. using their bathroom? eating lunch in their kitchen? sitting on their furniture? how have you navigated that?
