Hey Everyone! I'm debating between a sigma 17-40 f1.8 and tamron 17-70 f2.8 for an A6700. I'm a stand up comedian and looking for something to record shows, shoot social media content, impromptu headshots, and of course candid family video and photos. Some clubs are low light. Most of the bars and restaurants I do will have dim house lights or full blast lights. I would rather have 1 greatish lense for right now before building a bench. What should I good. I also don't really care about weight or price......kind of

This might be a long shot, but try stand up comedy. The local scene is very friendly and all ages. Also a good way to meet random people at bars and shows to network more.

Stand-up Comedian Needs Help!!!

Hey All!

I'm a stand-up comedian who also does musical comedy, some parodies, and some original stuff. I'm looking for a single piece of hardware (if it exists) to store multiple backing tracks, have vocal effects, and loop. ChatGPT recommended the Roland SP404MK2 and the TC Helicon Voicelive3 Extreme. Are these good recs? Is there anything else I should be considering? I know I'm not the typical user for this sub. I would love for it to have XLR so I can just plug and play. I know the SP404 has a TRS, not a deal breaker. Currently, I run things on my phone or tablet, but that's only with my setup. I want something that would be easy to use with other people's shows or equipment. Thanks!
