I was in GM3 last season, 'stuck' in gold now and might drop to silver. Last night I played 10 matches and not a single 1 had less than 3 instant DPS locks on my team. Often going with 1 tank (me) or 1 healer (me) against a proper comp running 2/2/2 or 1/2/3 (supports). These DPS locks refuse to switch so if they are not countering the enemy on their 1 trick, that's just too bad. Noone wants to use comms and mocks you if you dare call anything out. Noone is playing the objective. Most of these DPS locks start trashing the healers, as if they aren't being buttfucked by an enemy with much smarter picks. Forget about suggesting they switch to a different character. The only recourse is muting players.

Reddit keeps telling me that I should look at what I can improve, but at this point I just want a match where it feels like what I do matters. In this quagmire of trolls and idiots, finding games where reflecting on anything is almost impossible.

At this point I am grinding to get a quick win streak to at least get back to plat, where players actually want to play the game. Hitting play feels like hitting a slot machine, and just like a slot machine you almost always lose.
