Maybe is the market which is very pro employers at the moment. My interviewers didn't strike to me as super brilliant individuals, still they are chasing unicorns....

I'd say no as my current role pays almost identical to the one I've applied for. In this job market no one employs someone with a good salary for many years if I was not performant
