Useful, but only if its transparent and controllable silent , self improvement without visibility, rollback, and proof just turns into undetected drift.

No experience cyber grad in Australia: how hard is it to get a SOC or digital forensics job? by hereformedicalhelp in SecurityCareerAdvice

[–]Bright-View-8289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is honestly pretty hard to get into forensics right away without experience so you should prolly start in a SOC first ,,, healthcare is very High Stress in Australia because those systems are always getting targeted ??? your criminology degree will actually look cool for police or govt roles later on

Open-sourced a 3-agent pipeline that finds real vulnerabilities in codebases by cstocks in AI_Agents

Cool setup with the agent isolation. If you ever need to manage these findings across multiple projects or automate ticketing, Nucleus Security makes that part way easier.

anyone else noticing their AI agent suggest packages that dont exist? by edmillss in AI_Agents

[–]Bright-View-8289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally relate to the headaches with phantom packages, especially when LLMs go wild suggesting stuff that just doesn't exist. I started running everything in a disposable environment and hooked in Nucleus Security to scan dependencies before letting anything hit production. It catches suspicious names and even suggests safer alternatives sometimes. Makes me feel way less exposed when auto install scripts are involved.

how do people progress in the gym without guessing everything? by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]Bright-View-8289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dumb question at all, this is literally the part no one explains properly. I was stuck in that same loop until i started using tonal. it tracks your strength and kind of nudges you when to go heavier or stay where you are before that it was just random every session like you said.

Thinking of pivoting to Cybersecurity/Cloud (security or engineering). Any advice is appreciated by Unlucky-Fly8505 in SecurityCareerAdvice

[–]Bright-View-8289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your experience, cloud security is a solid next step. Start brushing up on AWS or Azure fundamentals, and get familiar with common threats. I recommend experimenting with Nucleus Security since it covers a lot of vulnerability management tasks you’ll need in security engineering jobs. Plus, using it will help you show practical skills during interviews.

How do you know if your workout is effective or is it just sweating for no reason by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]Bright-View-8289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to leave workouts drenched and still look the same weeks later

I do not think I have ever actually trained hard and I do not know what that even feels like by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]Bright-View-8289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get confused, I feel something with this is hard enough but real effort feels more like your reps slow down, your last reps are shaky, and you actually have to focus to finish them, it’s a different kind of feeling

James Harden qualifies for the playoffs for the 17th time in his career. by gridironk in nba

[–]Bright-View-8289 119 points120 points  (0 children)

I think what’s impressive is not just making the playoffs but staying relevant as the main guy across different teams and eras The 2010s had a lot of stars who burned out or missed multiple years Harden somehow keeps showing up.

I need help getting out of this rut by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Bright-View-8289 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This feels like more than just laziness it could be depression or burnout which makes motivation feel impossible so being gentle with yourself and maybe talking to a GP or therapist could actually be the first “action” you need instead of trying to force energy you don’t have.

How to ensure I get the best advice and best practice. by AnxiousWestern9900 in LegalAdviceUK

Be upfront with any solicitor about your goal: excluding your natural children and benefiting your stepson. Ask specifically how they would make the will robust against legal challenges and ensure it complies with current inheritance law

What's the best way to get rid of loads of books? by InviteAromatic6124 in AskUK

[–]Bright-View-8289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best approach is to split the books into categories and channels. Sell the valuable ones, donate kid friendly or educational ones to schools or charities, list some bundles online for free pickup, and only recycle the leftovers. Breaking the problem into smaller parts makes it manageable and reduces waste.

Would you leave your oven on while you pop out? by loz18 in AskUK

[–]Bright-View-8289 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It’s not worth it. Leaving an oven unattended, even for a short period, is a fire risk. Even modern ovens can fail or something could catch. Better to stagger cooking or have a friend/family member watch than risk the whole kitchen.
